The 40 Yard Dash & Field Events Challenge

WHO WILL BE CROWNED THE KING OR QUEEN OF THE FIELD?

This event is open to Youth, High School, and Adult Athletes. Who's faster? Soccer Players? Football Players? Lacross? Field Hockey? Come out and showcase your speed!!!

Race the 40! Get bragging rights against your boy or your girl! Who will come out on top?

• Athletes will race against each other in heats of ten to twenty athletes at a time.
• The heats will be mixed with boys and girls racing against each other.
• Scoring and placing will be separated by gender. Football, Baseball, Soccer, Track Athletes! No matter your sport come out and prove you are the fastest in the Race the 40 Challenge powered by RunRite and The Indoor Track

To win the title of "Fastest of the Field" athletes will compete in Four Rounds-

Round 1: Preliminary Round: Each athlete will compete in two races in heats of 8 in the 40 Yard Dash.  The top 50% of all competitors with the  fastest average time for each heat automatically advances to the Qualifying Round.  The remaining top 50% of competitors in this round will advance to the second qualifying round of the competition.

Round 2: Qualifying Round: The first place finisher in each heat automatically advances to the Quarter Finals. The remaining top 25% of competitors each advance to the Quarterfinal round of the competition.

The Quarter Finals:  The first athlete in each heat and the top 10% advance to the semi final round!

The Semi Finals: The top 1% of competitors advance to the Finals!

The Finals: The fastest 8 athletes in each age group will participate in the Finals!

Which school has the fastest athletes?  The Top Five (5) athletes who are competing and attend the same school will be ranked together to determine the lowest average 40 yard dash times for the top 5 performers from the same school. This will determine which school has the fastest athletes in the state of Texas!

Age Group Champions: The top 10 finishers in each age group will receive RunRite Fastest on the Field "Top Ten" T-Shirts and awards
