Coach Memberships (includes Option to Form a Team)
Overview:
WITFL Coach Membership allows coaches to form and manage their own teams within the WITFL league, consisting of up to 24 athletes per age group. Coaches can compete in year-round indoor events and take advantage of the 4-season structure, helping athletes progress while managing their team through consistent competition.

Income Benefits for Coaches:

  • Private Coaching: Coaches can earn between $50 to $100 per hour providing private coaching sessions to athletes, helping them improve their performance and technique.

  • Team or Organization Ownership: Coaches who own an organization can earn as much as  $500,000+ annually from athlete participation fees, sponsorships, and performance incentives.

    • Potential to create a sustainable, high-revenue opportunity leading a an organization.

  • Team Formation: Up to 24 athletes per age group for youth and adult age brackets.

  • Complete registration to become a member.

  • After registration, form teams and register athletes (up to 24 athletes per age group).

  • Manage your team or organization. Teams may be structured as for profit or non-profit entities.

WITFL Divisions and Member Coach Information

 

The World Indoor Track & Field League (WITFL) is for coaches who desire to work with boys and girls in grades 3 through 12 and adults seeking guidance in track and field, whether they’re discovering the sport or looking to transform their performance. WITFL also provides adults the opportunity to compete in open meets and competitions.

For Coaches Who Desire to Work With:

  • Boys and Girls (Grades 4-12): Coaches can work with youth athletes in the Invitational Division (for competitive athletes) or the Open Division (for athletes of all skill levels).

  • Adults: Work with adult athletes in open meets and competitions.

  • Team Ownership:Must hire a WITFL Certified coach to manage the team.

  • Open Division: Open to all coaches, with no certification required.

  • Invitational Division: Must be WITFL Certified to coach.

Coach Requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to coach within the WITFL.

  • Background Check: Pass a background check for child safety.

  • Certification: Completed required WITFL Certification for Level I, II, III, or IV.

WITFL Divisions

Invitational Division

  • Overview: Open to athletes aged 18U, 16U, 14U, and 12U who want to maximize their performance.

  • Coach Requirements: Coaches must be WITFL Certified to coach in this division and invite athletes.

  • Key Benefits:

    • Elite training and competition environment with a focus on improving athlete performance up to 20% faster.

    • Priority registration for meets and events.

    • Exclusive invitation to high-level competition.

Open Division

  • Overview: Open to athletes aged 18U, 16U, 14U, 12U, 10U, and 8U, competing unattached or as part of an existing team (e.g., AAU, USATF).

  • Coach Requirements: Any coach can participate in this division.

  • Key Benefits:

    • Coaches can register athletes without the need for an invitation.

    • Year-round competitive opportunities for all skill levels.

    • No certification required for coaches.
